Barlow Rd. Hike-n-Hike parking lot
Everyone,
For the Wednesday Morning Ride, July 2nd we will be riding to the Tallmadge Circle with a rest stop at the Crimson Cup on the circle. The route will be a combination of public roads and the Stow Bike-n-Hike and the Freedom Trail with flat to rolling hills. This will be a loop route with a total distance of 32 miles. We will be leaving the Barlow Rd. Bike-n-Hike parking lot at 9:00 am and riding at a pace of 13 to 15 mph and regroup as needed. Like all ABC rides, this ride is for current members and first-time guests.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before start time to allow for adequate check in time. As always, helmets are required on all ABC rides. Also, no ear buds and no use of cell phones for talking, text, or music while riding. It is also advised during daylight hours to use a good taillight and headlight when riding on public roads. These promote safety and alert drivers to our presence during all hours of the day. Please obey all traffic laws…safety is everyone’s responsibility. Also, make sure that your bike is properly maintained and is in good working condition. Each rider is expected to bring extra tubes, a pump, multi-tool, etc. for any mechanicals you may encounter.
Thanks, Phil
