Rides - Event View

Everyone,

For a Friday Morning Ride, Aug. 1st we will be riding the Valley View Parkway starting at Aukerman Park parking lot on York Rd. and riding to Rocky River with a stop at the Blackbird Bakery. This is an out and back route with a total mileage of 46 miles and 1100 feet of vertical climbing. We will be leaving York Rd, parking lot at 9:30 am and riding at a pace of 13 to 15 mph. We will regroup as needed. Like all ABC rides, this ride is for current members and first-time guests.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before starting time to allow for adequate check in time. As always, helmets are required on all ABC rides. Also, no ear buds and no use of cell phones for talk, text, or music while riding. It is also advised during daylight hours to use a good taillight and headlight when riding on public roads. These promote safety and alert drivers to our presence during all hours of the day. Please obey all traffic laws…safety is everyone’s responsibility. Also, make sure that your bike is properly maintained and is in good working condition. Each rider is expected to bring extra tubes, pump, multi-tool, etc. for any mechanicals you may encounter.
