Free RIDE OPTIONS:
The 20 mile Short route (in RWGPS as 2021) is 100% paved Bike & Hike (back and forth). Great for 1st time riders who want to gain knowledge of cycling etiquette and rules of the road, as well as casual riders. Minimum pace of 8 - 10 mph, please.
Short Route - Think Spring 2024
The 36 mile route is rolling and hilly on roads and paved trail; Minimum pace of 12 mph, please.

Bring your family for a day of fun, food and riding. Invite your cyclist friends to enjoy the day and have them become an ABC member. First time riders are welcome to learn more about the Akron Bicycle Club! Come for the Ride; Enjoy Lunch; Renew friendships and just have a very FUN day.

THINK SPRING IS BACK TO IT'S TRADITIONAL FORMAT, INCLUDING AN OPTIONAL LUNCH!!
In 2024, there is NO POTLUCK element for lunch.... No more hassles of bringing sides.... Leave everything to us!!! The optional Lunch can be ordered upon registration for a cost of $10. The Club will supply lunch, sides, water, hot drinks, SOFT Drinks, Dessert and plates/plastic utensils (alcohol is prohibited at this event). No need to bring anything... Just come and have fun.
RIDE PRE-REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED and will help the club plan for the ride.
LUNCH PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED By April 3rd.

Meet by 10:30 am at the Heritage Barn in the Silver Springs Park, Stow, Ohio to SIGN IN for an 11:00 am ride start. The entrance is at the rear entrance of Silver Springs Park (off of Young Rd). See MAP link below. Rain, Snow or Shine.... the event will go on with an 11:00 am ride start!
There is no cost for this ride!!! But, be sure to bring some cash and enter the 50/50 Raffle to benefit Velosano TEAM ABC! $5 per entry to win 50% of the pot!
